How many places have you been to that have appeared on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives? Only a novice, I have only been to Darwell's in Long Beach Mississippi and Santa Cruz Diner in California.

Bob's Taco Station, Rosenberg, Tx
Don't watch the show, but family lived close to it and mentioned they were on it.

I stumbled upon one just last week. On a recommendation I found right here on the TDF&DB, I went to Peaceful Restaurant in Vancouver. They had pictures of their cook and Fieri taping the episode on display there. I didn't previously know about Peaceful being on the show.
Fantastic food, by the way.

Randomly went to a BBQ joint that was on it in Silverton, CO last week. A BBQ "sundae" was their specialty.

Got engaged outside of one in Dallas.

I've actually seen him a few times. Always thought he was a douchebag. Then I went to a wedding where he was a guest...he stayed quiet and as anonymous as possible. Decided then that he was a decent dude.

Just one. A diner in Omaha. The owner confirmed that Guy Fieri is a douchebag.

I go to Louie's here in Dallas all the time. I was a regular before it was on DDD about 5 years ago. After the show aired the place was too damn crowded for a couple years after.

Same here. The one I hit up that wasn't was Pannini Pete's.

Lankford's grocery in Houston, TX. Great burgers and the chilequilles on the breakfast menu are delicious.
Went to a hole in wall Mexican place in Dallas that was on there. Can't remember the name but I recall the posole being the stand out part of the meal.

I thought he was a douchebag, too, but a good friend of mine has a son who has had cancer since he was 6 (he's 17, now). Guy came to visit him in the hospital. Patrick's brothers had both shaved their heads as part of a charity fund drive for Patrick. Guy said he would not shave his head, but he spent the entire day with the family and they said that he was one of the most genuine and spontaneously funny people they have ever been around. He didn't have to spend the whole day with them (I guess it was around 6-7 hours, but he did and he lifted everybody's spirits, and brought them dinner at the hospital so they wouldn't have to eat the hospital food.
Patrick is 17 and has been in and out of remission several times, since then. He's currently in remission, now, but they don't know how long it will last. They've done some experimental treatments, but if the cancer comes back, it's pretty much over. Unfortunately, there are signs that the cancer is going to come back - something about the blood counts and his immune system not ramping up to fight the cancer. He still remembers the day he spent with Guy Fieri and speaks of it fondly.

The only one I've been to was Louie & the The Red Headed Lady in Mnadeville. It was good, but is no longer open.

Forgot about that one. Yeah, it's been closed. It was pretty good, but they could have made it a little nicer.
I think I liked his fried green tomatoes the best. That dish was,

I never realized that the Smashmouth guy knew so much about food. He's like the mayor of a place called Flavortown.
