Did anyone get to try the new restaurant Parsley & Pepper?

Quality!
That is the first word that came to mind after trying out this new Mediterranean restaurant that is more Greek based. (This place opened up on Bennington Ave at the old location of Marinas Mexican Grill.)
Being foodies, we tried to sample as many as we can on our first visit.
Hummus: to me it is the best hummus I've had in this town! Texture and taste is different from a lot of what you get in the multitude of Lebanese restaurants in BR; it is fresh tasting and pairs up well with their nice fresh and soft wheat and white pita bread.
Stuffed Grape Leaves: very tasty and substantially meat filled, also quite unlike of other meat stuff grape leaves I've had elsewhere in town. Also loved the taste of their Grecian sauce.
Lentil Soup: they use the brown colored lentil beans which were not ground up or mushy like other lentil soups I had tried . Nice balance in the taste.
Combination Chicken Shawarma and Gyros: excellent tasting . Chicken was moist inside. We chose the grilled mixed vegetables and grilled asparagus which were nicely done.
Steak Shish Kabob: can taste Worchester sauce used in the marinate. Beef was of good quality and tender. Will try their grilled potatoes as one of the sides next time since they grilled the veggies so well.
The place has a nice clean simple decor with a simple menu and relatively inexpensive food. The chef is friendly and knows his food. I think this place deserves a lot of recognition as I think they deserve it.

I've already eaten there 3 times and its very good. Might be one of the best Greek places in town. No beer, wine or liquor yet but I think he's going to add! You won't smell or feel like you just ate a pound of garlic by going here!
Def need to try.

All your posts are reviewing or commenting on food outlets.
Also, the OP sounds like a bad food blog post.
Here is a tip, if the OP/barbie are associated with the restaurant just come out and say it. It goes a long way instead of a crappy food blog like review.

What's the pita like? I'm so sick of hard pita from a bag at all of the places in BR. I realize we can't all be Shaya, but damn.

FYI, you should probably be careful in picking out your username if you're going to post something similar here that you did on another rating website.

We eat out a lot.
Interested in trying out different foods and restaurants with an open mind.
Their white pita bread is soft, while the white pita bread at another Greek restaurant Zorbas is grilled. Both Greek pita bread is good in their own ways, and both are different from the white pita served at a lot of the Lebanese restaurants in town.
My wife is the one who likes the wheat version.

Your defensiveness for the Bennington area is the strangest thing that I just can't figure out. Are you the owner of The Station like someone once said?
