I'd consider cookies as my favorite dessert. The cookies can't be pre-packaged and need to be soft. But, I don't expect cookies to be served at a restaurant.

For that I go cheesecake

And not a chocolate pie or anything like that. Something with fruity goodness inside.

I like apple and strawberry pie and any holiday pie (pecan, pumpkin, sweet potato). Not a fan of chocolate pie either.

For sure. I can't remember the last time I saw cookies on a restaurant menu.

I do see some pics of homemade newtons that look much better than the store bought newtons.

true -- but it's hard to find a place that makes blueberry... every place makes apple or peach

Preach brother preach.

The blueberry is under appreciated except in muffin form.

From the website...

quote:

Cobbler of the Day Apple, Peach, Blackberry, Black & Blue, Strawberry & Cherry Oh Yeah! It's Definitely Homemade. Top it with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream - $5.25 $4.50

I'd call ahead to make sure it will be served that day. I asked one time if she could make some Apple that next Friday and she made it happen.

You're probably joking but cake balls piss me off. Something about uncooked cake being touched all over by someone is just not appetizing to me
