Dear God... Why?

Watched my bf earlier during the Alabama USC game make himself a walmart pizza (take and bake one) and then put a thick layer of mayo over the entire thing. Thought I was gonna lose my dinner watching him eat that mess. 
Why the obsession of mayo for some people? He also eats popcorn with dipping it in mayo. BLECH!

One of my grandfather's guilty pleasures was a cracker topped with a slice of butter, then a slice of cheese, then some mayo on top. This was a dude who (+25 years ago) used to go to Mardi Gras parades in three-piece suits. I don't get it either.
