Cutrer Sausage

I have really like Cutrer sausage but have always just bought their hickory smoked. Has anyone tried the jalapeño, pepper jack cheese and/or any others? Heading to Farmer’s Mkt in the mernin.

Everytime I go to the Farmers market I buy a 5 lb bag. Its pretty good. I havent tried their jalaoeno yet.

I have just bought their hickory smoked and I enjoy it. I was disappointed when I was told that their slaughter house isn't cleared for commercial sales, so all of their meat is bought from other companies and repackaged just like the grocery store butcher.

Wow! Did not know that. I thought they were an independent abattoir. However, their smoked sausage is excellent. I will report back after trying the pepper jack cheese sausage.

run on sentence advice: Stick with the original hickory smoked, do not get the cajun hickory smoked or the hot pepper cheese cajun sausage, it was not nearly as good and tasted too much Chipotle.
