Sammy's has them. We ordered a platter as an app just to try. Actually were a decent size, but weren't seasoned as well as Sammy's normally does.

Erin Andrews was chowing down on some at Sammy's last night.

Sammy's had a horrible run last year the 4-5 times I gave them a shot. Either they were salted to the point of sodium overdosing myself, or they tasted like they came out of warm dishwater. I hope they get their act together this year because I'm ready to eat.

Yeah last year was a rough year for them. The first 3 or 4 times I ate them for the season they were bad. I go there quite often and just started asking to sample one or two before we ordered. I don't mind being a pain in the arse for that when they were having a hard time putting out a decent product and I spend quite a bit of money there. They got a lot more consistent towards the end of the year. I was told it was a new cook.
Hopefully this year they get off to a better start.

I like Sammy's so yeah I hope it's straight by the time I start dropping money. I can't get enough of crawfish so I spend a good bit there.

went to sammy's last night and the platters were only about $1.50-2 more than usual. At least it satisfies the craving

I don't eat them until April which is about the traditional start. Bigger, cheaper and spillway.

I didn't get any because it's still so early in the season and I like them bigger and since it's sammy's I wanted to give them some time to perfect the seasoning, but it was on their dinner specials board.

Spillway crawfish are just coming in. Maybe late March. I'll eat pond crawfish but when I was a kid and started eating them there were no pond crawfish. Eat until about end of June, maybe early July then start eating crabs until the fall and start on oysters. I'll eat them a little earlier if someone is boiling them but I just don't typically get into it until that time.

Opposite for me, I didn't eat a spillway crawfish until I was 25 and didn't care for them. By the end of May I'm done with crawfish.
