Helped a neighbor boil 2 sacks yesterday here in Katy. He paid $1.89 per lb. What are the live prices around you right now?

The crawfish were small as shite too.

Gotcha. Well there weren't many options here yesterday morning. I think he went to 5-6 different places before he found these. And Katy isn't exactly Lafayette either as far as options. How is the crop looking this year so far?

Live in Katy as well. We boiled 2 sacks for Good Friday got them from HEB

Regular- 1.97 a lb where small
Select - 4.97 a lb where good sized

We had a sack of each. Your neighbor probably just got them a little on sale because they were left over from Good Friday

bullshite on those prices in dfw. Throwing a boil Saturday in dallas and I've been calling around

Bayou market in Lewisville is $3.75

Kroger is $2.99 but are field run and it's kroger

Lots of BS on craigslist saying 3.30-3.40 and are "bringing them from LA"

Bought 2 sacks from my people yesterday here in BR for $3.10/lb for live. They were nice size but crawfish just aren't worth that much to me anymore.

Preach, brother! When a sack of crawfish costs $130, before you buy propane, seasonings, sides items, etc, you could feed 6 people steak and lobster for that price, and easier too.
