I don't have crawfish I'm boiling, but since we had a post for CRAB BOIL and SHRIMP BOIL I figured we shouldn't leave these little frickers out

A little olive oil, sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper.

That's all you should need if it's prime crawfish. Anything more is overdoing it.

Don't overdo it. Season your water with a slight bit of salt and lemon to bring out the natural crayfish juices. Make sure to kill the boil with ice to lock in the juices. Once they're done, toss into an ice chest and coat liberally with Tony Chachere's seasoning. Garnish with some tomatoes and Cane's sauce and you're good to go.

I can't believe we've never had a crawfish boil recipe thread...all this time.

Add 1 liter of apple cider vinegar to your pot after the water is boiling. Add a box of salt and a box of black pepper. Next, break the tails off all of your live crawfish and throw them in the pot. This allows the seasoning to get to the meat. Bring water to a boil and kill the heat. Take your Yeti ice chest out of the freezer and pour a layer of Zataran's crab boil in the bottom of the ice chest. Throw them tails in the ice chest and seal it. Let the tails steam for 30 min and your done, son.
