Is there a scenario that you would purchase one of these to cut into steaks and share with 8-11 people? At almost $140lb, I would be cool with one or two steaks.

That's pretty gnarly but I wouldn't pay $140 a pound for a steak. I've seen prime steaks at the grocery store that are almost as marbled for 20 bucks a pound by the way. Also for me there is a threshold where there can be just too much fat. I'm surprised Costco offers that cut by the way.

Eta I've been drinking by the way

Nope. I'll blow money on quality ingredients, but I don't see any steak being worth $140 per pound for me. I'm not that big a steak fan.

Only if I hit the jackpot of either the Powerball or Megamillion. Most likely I'd pair it with a bottle of this(also can be purchased at Costco).

If I did, then I would worry my husband to death about cooking it right. He doesn't need that kind of grief.
