I've been searching online and can't seem to find it. It has pecans in it. Curious if anyone had it or knows where to find it.

The candied pecans were blanched in simple syrup then fried.

This recipe is very close.

I bake the potatoes and scrape out the meat. I use vanilla, butter and nut extract rather than vanilla.

the recipe i have calls for
1 cup of honey
1tsp cinnamon
1/4tsp nutmeg
8 tbls butter
salt and pepper to taste
6 quarteted lg sweet potatoes
Place diced butter on top sweet potatoes
Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over quarterd sweet potatoes then drizzle with honey. Season with salt and pepper then gently pour 2 cups of water into roasting pan and bake 1.5 hours at 350 then cover and bake 30 minutes more. After cooking place in mixer bowl and mix until all lumps are gone incorporating as much liquid from roasting pan to reach desired consistency then place into cassrole dish. It calls for no toppings but I usually do not mash them up but place them in a cassarole dish as is sprinkle with roasted pecans.

I like the honey in place of white/brown sugar that it calls for but I do not like really sweet foods either
