I had a great cioppino style seafood dish in Denver a few years back.

Has anyone had cioppino in a south Louisiana restaurant lately? I'm always on the lookout for it.

Ha-ha, I would surely eat a good redfish courtbouillon too!

My mom made a great one - but not often.

I was thinking more about the west coast style with clams, mussels, crab, shrimp, scallops, and fish.

Yep. Just teasing. Don't know who may be doing something similar.

Vincent's has something really similar to it on their 25-item "specials" page that hasn't changed in years yet isn't part of the permanent menu

ETA: I think. I can't remember now if it has a red sauce or not.

It's one of my favorite items at Whole Foods. Although it 's not as fancy as the pic you posted.

Back in the day.....The Original Village on Airline had an amazing cioppino.

Mrs Fannie had that dish down pat!!

I miss those days

Maybe Little Village has it?

only place I know that does it decent is Whole Foods.

You can get the very similar courtboulion all over the city. But not with all the cold water fish and mussels that cioppino usually has.

Yes. Jolie's in Lafayette features Cioppino on their menu.

They're fairly easy to make as well.
