I do. They are awful.

I loved wings before loving wings was cool. And I don't mean Buffalo wings, but fried chicken wings. My favorite part.

when i think wings, i think the whole big wing and i marinate them and smoke them and they are fantastic
the all battered down tiny split wings from the chain places- meh. so overpriced and no meat- and so bad for you!

I don't think they are awful, but all these wing restaurants have made them too popular and therefore expensive. $2.99/lb for wings while leg quarters are on sale for $.29/lb is pretty crazy considering the number of wings you need for a crowd.

Huge scam, if chickens had wings they could fly.

I've always found it odd that they can cut three wings in half and call them six wings.

I do as well. Haven't had them in about a year.

I just feel bad for all of those chickens walking around with no wings.

I'm not a real big wing guy. I like them alright, but will never order them at a restaurant and have only bought them to make at home a couple of times. If I'm cooking hand held chicken pieces it's gonna be a fatass drumstick.

Just remember, if you and your buddies go to Pluckers and order 50 wings to share, at least 13 chickens had to die to make that happen.
RIP 13 chickens.

I actually think about these things. I can't stand to throw away a single shrimp. I know it is just a shrimp, but I hate thinking that it's life was wasted.
Like I said in another thread. People are freaking weird. Hand raised!

Almost as big a rip off as Five Guys.

Depends on where I get them. I like the garlic parm and lemon peppers wings from Wingstop. Or some homemade buffalo wings.

I agree
If doing it at home I use drumsticks for 1/5 the price

For some reason America whips itself into a frenzy over certain foods and blows their goodness out of proportion. Chicken wings and bacon are prime examples. They're good and all. But it's just chicken wings and bacon

I think if a wing place used thighs instead of wings they would be a huge hit.

have wondered for years why this hasn't happened.

Boneless thighs would be awesome fried wing-style.
