Chicago Trip- Beer Advice

Alright, so my wife is going to Chicago for work and that means beer and pizza from Chicago. Anyone have any recommedations on what I should ask for? She got me the Pipeworks Amarillo IPA last time and it was amazing. Let me know what yall think and as always

Get anything from Great Lakes, flossmore, three Floyd's, bells, half acre, dark horse, surly, central waters, and tyranena. All those are great breweries.

Add a splash of bourbon or rum to a small shot of your favorite soy sauce (I prefer Kikkoman) and you have effectively replicated BA DL...
Pipeworks, Revolution and some Three Floyds should be found. I'd look into seeing if any of the Goose Island Brewpubs (Clybourn) have any bottled offerings.

I've heard some of them are crazy sweet. Hell, the base beer is pretty sweet.
I am intrigued by BVDL though. Wonder if the price of admission will ever drop.

We cracked a 12' Cognac DL a few weeks ago. Even with a few years of age it was difficult to drink.
