Great news! I have yet to try any of their brews, but I've heard good things from you guys.

Tried it at WYES also. Their porter and DIPA are both good beers, but they won't blow your socks off. Their blueberry ipa.. thing... just didn't do it for me.

I agree about that one. Not impressed.

Their two regular beers are pretty good though.

I think we are in agreement, Old 504 and Voo Ka Ray are both good beers.. I just don't want to overhype them and let our Glorious Leader down.. I was a little disappointed over Old 504 because of the hype I've seen around here on it. But it is a good beer.

Except I have a better chance of driving to Mandeville to have it than I do stopping anywhere in Livingston for it.

thats what I told Josh. Asked if Rotolos sold growlers, so I could get in and get out.

I stopped by Chimes Covington on the way home from Chattanooga last week just to have some Chafunkta. And they blew the keg of Voo Ka Ray on my pint and were out of Old 504.

I like the 504 a lot, but not a big fan of the Vookray. It's drinkable, just not a very balanced IPA and kind of lacks an identity.

both Magazine Bulldog and Ave Pub in Nola have both on draft, btw
