Heading to BR for a concert Wednesday night and looking for a place to have a casual dinner with the girlfriend. A jeans and polo sort of place. Show is at The Varsity but we'll be in town most of the day so anywhere within a reasonable distance is fine. I haven't lived in BR in about 4 years so I'm all ears for places I may not be aware of. Open to any sort of food. TIA

Definitely occurred to me. I've actually only eaten there once. Anything specific you would recommend?

we did that for a concert a while back. didn't have to worry about time or parking or driving, etc. and we were the first ones through the doors and to the bar inside.

I honestly don't think I've ever ordered anything other than the étouffée there

You can go anywhere in a jeans and polo. I'd go to Beausoleil.

Same here. Get the red beans as the side and dump them on the pork chops=greatness.

They do a good burger at the Chimes. Good fried seafood too. That's what I usually go with. And the boudin ball app

I would have recommended Chelsea's if I had seen this earlier.

Chimes is a great choice too though. Pork chops with a side of red beans
