I ate at Carraba's a couple weeks ago. I didn't seem to notice a change in portion size. The bread was brought to the table without asking as well.
I had the pasta with shrimp and scallops--which turned my bowels into liquid about two hours later (should have stuck with Chicken Bryan).
Outback changed portion sizes and their salads (much smaller) several years ago and I stopped going. I would go 4-6 times a year, and I have been once in about 5 or 6 years. My life is a little less bright without a bi-monthly dose of Alice Springs Chicken.
I would much rather pay a dollar or two more for an entree than have its quality compromised to save money.
