I understand that you shouldn't expect restaurant quality food or drinks at Tiger Stadium from the vendors. Many of the local vendors spend a lot of money for booths, to make a little money but primarily for advertisement. Caliente was selling "$15 Blue Margaritas" last night at BCSF. These were some of the worst tasting drinks I have ever had. Furthermore, if there was any alcohol content, it was incredibly insignificant. Caliente has lost me as a customer.

I'm sure they jacked up the price of the specialty drinks since most country music fans drink Natty Ice.

I go at least once a week. Those 2-for-1 margaritas are hard to beat.

LSU concessions sets the prices on all food and beverages. Caliente had no say in what they charged for that drink, and had to turn around and give LSU-C at least 40% of the gross revenue from sales as the vendor fee (on top of paying sales tax, employees, crazy high insurance, etc). This is why there are those red hot dogs in the jambalaya at BCSF, which is a damn shame. Don't hate on Caliente, it was completely out of thier conrol. I've been there as a vendor, and don't plan on going back.
