I am in charge of cooking two hogs this weekend for the Florida game. I cooked two ninety pound hogs on my smoker for the kentucky game and they came out great. But, they barely fit on there together. This weekend I am having a much larger tailgate and am doing two 130 pound hogs. I know that only one will fit on the smoker.
Does ANYONE know where I can rent either a smoker or a cajun microwave? I am in dire need of anything. If someone has one that they would let me rent from them, I would pay up. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

I just tried calling Chris' Specialty meats on Millerville road and they said no. He said they have gotten many similar calls and not sure why people think they rent them out. Is that the place you were talking about? Thanks

Where the he'll are these tailgates that have two hogs cooked? Are you feeding the North end zone? Two 130 hogs will feed what 300 people?

And if hasn't started cooking yet, they aren't gonna be done...

No idea if it would be big enough or work, but I have a fairly large grill with an external smoke box that you can borrow as long as you promise not to axe murder me. I think it's around 50" x 32" interior.

AAA Rent-All on Airline and Sherwood has/had a huge pit you can rent for a hundred bucks, but it's been three years since i last rented it. Doesn't have a smoke box, its just a huge trailer pit with an expanded metal grate, but you should be able to fit that hog on there easy .... give em a call. If they aint got what you need, they'll know who does.

By the way, tell them dudes at Chris' specialty meats the reason they keep getting calls like that is because they used to have one in the store with a sign on it that said "Rent Me" ... i asked them about the price once, and although i don't remember how much it was, i know it was too much because i rented the pit from AAA instead.
