I was in world market this weekend in Shreveport and picked up some of this, had never seen a stout in a can other than guinness. Wondering if anyone else had tried this before, Buried Hatchet Stout from Southern Star Brewing Company, I really enjoyed this it seemed really heavy on the chocolate/coffee flavors but in a good way.

Yes, that is a good beer. Southern Star Bombshell Blonde and Pine Belt Ale are also good. The fact that they are in cans makes them attractive beers for poolside or beach.

It's out of Conroe, TX. If I drink it, I have it on draught.

Southern Star Bombshell Blonde

I actually picked up a 6-pack of this last night for the first time. Drank three of them tout de suite. Expensive for a 6-pack but I thought it was a nice warm weather beer for sure.

One of my favorite stouts. Southern Star doesn't have a bottling line, only canning, so all of their beers are in cans.

Bombshell Blonde is also fantastic. Probably my favorite blonde ale.
