Had the City Pork burger yesterday. Good size and very good flavor but I thought that the horseradish was a little heavy in the mayo.

This is awesome. It sucks that there are so many burgers and no way to get to them all. I wish they would run this for 2 weeks. Still wouldn't get to them all but instead of trying 2 places maybe I could hit up 4 or even 5. I can't have a burger every night of the week.

Probably the Southern Wild pepper sauce you were tasting. I had that burger for lunch. But I'm an unabashed fan of the Southern Wild sauce. I use that stuff on damn near everything now. Burgers, tacos, omelettes, you name it.

You are correct. I now rank this as the best of the 3 I have had.

We tried The Grind, located inside Quarters, it was really good. Seasoned patty, pork belly topped with a fried egg...delicious.

We went to Olive Or Twist and it was a truly terrible burger. Completely over-cooked to the point that we almost sent it back. For $5 we decided it just wasn't worth it. I almost choked on it a few times. I hope it was just because they were busier than normal and lost track of the cook time.

Had the fat cow burger last night. The Praline Bacon, garlic aioli, and the brie all blended together well. The patty was a little dryer than I would usually like. But overall a good burger.

That is surprising, I went Monday and it was perfectly cooked.

It was like a brick the one time I went, but that was for their regular burger night months ago. That's the only bad food I've had from them thus far.

Olive or Twist does their burger for $5 every Tuesday. Had it one of the first times they did it and it was a hockey puck, and I like their food normally. They didn't allow cooking to temp either.

yeah I had the Olive or Twist burger lastnight, mine wasn't as bad as the guy a few posts above seems to have been...not that good either though.

I had their burger for lunch one day back in late August. It was great. Apparently they've stopped both lunch service and making great burgers.

Wish they'd finish the damn renovations already.

Went to Olive and Twist last night too. I thought it was cooked slightly above where it should have been, but not that bad.

All in all a pretty good burger. Not as good as Burgersmith.

Trying Goûter tonight.

They hired a chef from downtown and I noticed he is no longer there ever since a few weeks after they hired him. Looks like the dinner service beyond the bar menu isn't happening either.
