I went a few weeks ago and got the short ribs and grits and my friend got the burger. It was ok. Nothing spectacular.

I thought it was pretty good. Worth the visit.

Like the menu. Haven't been yet, but looks like worth a shot.

Good fried green tomato app. My main of a chicken thigh confit with waffle fell flat. Cool space tho

Never heard of the place. Pulled up their website/menu. Looks like they are trying to be an exact carbon copy of a place 5 blocks up the street. Weird.

I went to Brown Butter this weekend and thought it was excellent! The wife and I very much enjoyed it.

So are you the owner or do you just work there?

I agree with Neauxla that Brown Butter was pretty underwhelming.

I went there with a party of 4 for dinner about two weeks ago. And we ordered the board, fried pickles, bone marrow, Beef short ribs, aged Duck breast, Seared Scallops and Pork and beans.

The best dish nad only dish was the Bone Marrow, it was really good!!

The Short ribs seems a little tough and lean. Also the taste was whatever but the portion was pretty big for this entree.

Dont even bother with the other dishes goodness!!!

I really liked when Dayne Womax and Josh Garic were doing the Salty Swine supper club. They were great in that setting and I was looking forward to Brown Butter. Unfortunately I have only been once for lunch when they first opened and was underwhelmed as others have said.

ETA - I will go for dinner service soon now that they have been open for a while, but it doesn't sound like Brown Butter will live up to expectations.

LOL, my brother in law works there. My wife and I usually go try out wherever he is working at. He has worked at Arnaud's, August, Luke, Root, Square Root, and now here. I really, honestly did like it though more so than some of the above mentioned restaurants. The only one we never tried was Square Root. I had the short ribs and grits and thought it was real good. Anyways, just my opinion.
