Looking for somewhere in the BR area to buy a brisket(preferably a flat), and a pork butt. I'm a member of Sams but idk if I really want to go there. Any ideas?

Costco has both whole packer and flats. The packers are prime grade, about 2.99/lb. They only have boneless pork butt, but Sams has bone in if you don't want to mess with tying it up.

hmm, pretty obscure list of meats. the only places i can think of to look would be sam's, wal-mart, target, costco, albertson's, matherne's, calandro's, whole foods, hi nabor, fresh market, maxwell's, calvin's, leblanc's, and maybe alexander's. other than that, good luck.

Sweet. I can't wait to shop at the Monroe Costco location when it opens in 2047.

I thought about stopping in at maxwells to see. Just have a feeling their prices along with other places will be a lot more expensive than Sams but prolly a better cut.

Rouses puts their double pack of boston butts on sale for $0.99/lb regularly. Unfortunately, I don't see that sale right now.

The brisket prices at Costco are incredible.. I just wish they carried shoulder roasts with the bone in.. All they carry is boneless.

at the New Orleans Costco, I've seen the prime brisket vary from anything between $2.69/lb and $3.89/lb
