Headed to Breck in a few months for a ski trip. Just realized we will be there for my birthday. We are staying at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 so we will be able to take the gondola downtown no problem
What are some good spots?

Salt Creek steakhouse

There is another newer more casual steakhouse with a great beer selection. I'm drawing a blank right now on the name though.

I thought Modis was really solid when we went in August.

And not food, but Broken Compass Brewing is right next to Breck Distillery and they make some damn good beers if you're into craft beer.

I like Backcountry pizza and Prost in Frisco. Dillon Dam Brewery is cool also. Breckenridge Brewing's original brewpub is on the bus line in Breck and usually a good time.

Good burger and beer selection at Downstairs at Eric's on Main. We have had great sushi at Wasabi, but don't expect the atmosphere to wow you...it's about fresh fish and good preparation.

Was that the one in the mall? If so I agree.

Just outside in Frisco, but Peppino's Pizza is a great little place to grab a quick bite. It's a tiny little place, but the pizza is fantastic.

Breckenridge Brewery - Go mostly for the beer. Food is decent though. Buffalo meatloaf is usually on point.

Empire Burger - Great burgers. Ground in house every day. Not frozen patty crap.

Ollie's - Bar Food. I suggest the build your own Mac N Cheese if you need to carb load after skiing all day. Beer is really cheap FWIW.

Crepes a la cart - On main streat. Nice, warm treat after walking down main street bar hopping in the cold.

Mi Casa - Excellent mexican. They have over 100 tequilas if that's your thing.

Modis - Usually have apps here before dinner a couple of times when we go. All are great and the bourbon selection is Excellent!! Bartenders know what they are doing.

This thread just made me text a friend of mine that lives there. I'm going in February now.

Nice, we went last summer and loved it. Once the kids are a little older we will be heading back for skiing...

Heading there tomorrow. Any suggested beers to look for that aren't available in La?
