Bourbon Trail Recommendations

I'm headed there soon. Definitely going to Makers, Woodford and Buffalo Trace. I heard the Beam tour sucks. Any recommendations for tours/eats/whatever are appreciated.

i've never done it but i hear makers is the best along with 4 roses, beam, and woodford

I hit all of them a few years back and have the t-shirt to prove it. I enjoyed Makers and Woodford the most. Next time I'm up there I want to hit up the craft bourbon trail.

I've never been, be sure to give us a report. I was told that Maker's is the most enjoyable.

Went to makers and Beam. Got to try a bunch at Beam but enjoyed Makers a lot more. The pecan chocolate bourbon balls at Makers are awesome. I ate 10 of those things. Also tried the white dog

Makers is really solid. Woodford reserve has a nice tour and tasting setup too.
Wild turkey is a pretty shitty tour but they are very liberal with the tastings and letting you get into the white dog
Bring a camera because the scenery is beautiful as well

Wow, that Abbey looks really neat. Would love to visit. A good friend did Woodford and said it was worth the trip.

Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely add the Abbey to the agenda!
Also, if I'm gonna go all out and pick up a bottle of a super high end bourbon while there....Pappy? Parker's Heritage? Other?
