I'm working on project in Scott the next few days so I'm looking for your thoughts or recommendations from Billys, Dons, and the Best Stop. Best boudin? Best overall item from each?

I've had boudin from Billy's and Best Stop. Both very good.

I'm a Dons guy when it's not too spicy. It can be inconsistent, but I've had the best from Dons out of all of those places

I hit Billy's up on the way back from Houston every time. Good stuff.

I like Dons. But all are really good. If I lived in Scott it would matter, but for me I only get there once or twice a year so any of them will do

Always enjoyed Best Stop in Scott and Ronnies in Hammond of Airport Road. Both very good.

Billy's is the best, but they are all good.

If this is true hit all of them and decide for yourself. Billy's, Don's, Best Stop, Rascals, gautreaux's, Early's. A lot of different choices. Some are better fresh some grill better and some are better smoked. I eat them all

Billy's for their jack cheese boudin balls and egg rolls. Their Cracklins are very good too. Use the drive through.

I have always liked the Best Stop for Boudin, smoked or regular. There is a place a couple of miles past the Best Stop that is supposed to be really good too (Don't remember the name). EDIT: Early's

I will go to Don's in a pinch, but we purchased 10 pounds from there recently and I didn't really like it as much as Billy's and Best Stop.

You're thinking of Romero's Grocery which is north of Best Stop. Early's is south of interstate in the curve as you head into Scott on St Mary St.

My wife grew up on the border of Laf and Scott and grew up eating Best Stop exclusively but now says Billy's is better after a recent blind taste test. Both are great however.

No pics of the wife doing a blind boudin taste test. Sorry.
