OK F&D, need to get 120 lbs of butt for some deer sausage I'm making. I called leblancs and they want $1.47. Anyone know of a better option?

Tell them you are buying in bulk and they may cut you a deal

piggly wiggly at harding / plank has them on sale for $1.29. Be lucky to find it somewhere for $.99. Bring a gun if going to harding / plank piggly wiggly.

Call Ralph's on 44. Ask for Jeremy or TC in the meat department. Tell them what you want and ask them for a deal. It was $1.49 on the shelf yesterday, they'll come down off of that for you I'm sure.

Thanks guys. I'll make some calls. Just seemed 1.47 was a little high but I never buy bb so was not sure if that was a good price.

Saw Boston butts at two places for 1.29 a pound for the two pack. By bulk I bet they shave off 10 cents or so.

Supported the locals at Leblancs. I called all 3 SAMs in this area and apparently they don't have anyone to answer the phone when you call. Tried multiple times.

Thanks for the info

I got it for 1.41 a pound. Best I could do and didn't feel like spending all day driving and calling around.
