Love em or hate em?
I just picked up a big ole sack of green jumbo boiling peanuts from fresh pickins on coursey. Biggest in the city, and one of the best parts of the beginning of football season!

I do too! I really feel bad for all those people that just get some nasty gas station ones out of a crock pot, or a can. It's like fresh jumbo lump crabmeat vs the crap they put on the side of sushi (painted fish)

they are fricking disgusting...I hate the legumey flavor the boiling process imparts on them...if I wanted to eat peas...I would just eat peas.

Love them. Eating them since I was a kid. Dad was a master at boiling them. I sure miss him

Interesting, but a peanut is actually more a pea than a nut

I love them

it is definitely more of a pea than a nut, but I eat peanuts for the nutty flavor, not the pea flavor (hahahahaha)

Love 'em

Some of the best I had were in a small gas station outside of Atlanta owned by an Indian. They were boiled in garam masala or something like that and were awesome. I wish I could reproduce those.
