Solid and place, ordered the homemade meatloaf with garlic mash potatoes and broccoli- would eat at this establishment again.

frick that place. I highly suggest no one go there. Food may be okay, but the service is literally the worst I've ever had and I eat out a good bit due to work.
I've tried it 4Xs as my office is near here. It's the same dog and pony show every time. Dudes food is okay, but the service is unbearable. I said I would never go back each time, but someone else wanted to try it. I reluctantly went back, thinking maybe it was just the waiters at the time.
Nope. Last time they asked if we minded being outside... we didn't. They sat us next to a group of 12-15 that were drunk at lunch, which I've done just not on a Thursday. took us 10-12 min to get waited on, if I would've drove we would've left. Ordered drinks and food as soon as they came by b/c we didn't want to wait to get moved and start the process over again. 30-40 min later we get our food and it was okay at best. Oh.... and for the 4th time the food did not make it out at the same time. It was 2 of us.... plates came out 7-10 min apart. I was almost done eating what meat came on the poboy. Waitress had no clue with the fact that we looked annoyed and asked for the check the moment the food got there. Never thought to ask if something was wrong. There is no reason a couple of sandwiches should take 30 min or more to come out and then come out at completely different times.
Much better food and service within 10-15 of that area....

Yep. I've been 3 times. 1 by choice and 2 because other people wanted to try it out. Both of those times I told my group how bad the service was and both times I was proven correct. The food is good but not something you can't get at other well established restaurants around BR with much better service.

no question...
i recommend some of the things they cook highly (fried chicken chief among them) but only for take out. that may very well be the single worst restaurant service in BR

I've been once and had a decent meal but nothing that brought me back to try more of the menu.
I think the most bizarre part of my visit was when the waiter first came to our table, he asked me and my friend if we had ever been there before. Common question at a restaurant, thought nothing of it, so answered no.
He began to go through every section of the menu...
"These are the appetizers - these come before the meal, turn the page and these are our entrees , these are the drinks...etc.etc." He didn't really provide any insight into the restaurant, just told us how to read a menu as if we had never been to any restaurant before.
Not really a negative, just cracked me up.

This place is terrible. I don't care enough to type my gripes, but they suck.
