And the last flavor to be released next week, The Great Divide!
Perfect for the indecisive purchaser.

Some people are not happy with this selection:
quote:
“Both of these flavors were released earlier this week,” said Christian Garcia on Instagram. “Don’t think y’all could have came out with something new?”
Instagram user Jackie McKinney echoed the frustration by saying, “Makes no sense! These were released already!”
Other commenters simply called for the return of their personal favorite flavors such as Rocky Mountain Road, Pecan Pralines ‘n Cream and Southern Blackberry Cobbler.
“If you haven’t seen your favorite yet,” Blue Bell reassured, “don’t worry because there are still more flavors to come.”
Shoppers can start finding Blue Bell Ice Cream in select Texas stores once again later this month, but only in Houston, Austin and the company’s hometown of Brenham. North Texas will be included in the second phase of the rollout, which is expected to begin in mid-September.
Only three cities in Texas. I'm glad I live in Houston right now.
I wonder when they will announce the stores.

You seem to be the one who finds out what flavors are coming out. Do you know when they announce what locations will sell Blue Bell?

They haven't said anything about that. I imagine most major grocery a stores in the area HEB and Kroger most likely.

I hope they never make Lemon Bliss again. It is extremely hard to resist.

Suzi Hanks of the Dean & Rog show on The Eagle radio station 106.9 & 107.5 in Houston just did an ice cream taste test.
Yesterday, she had told D&R that she could pick the Blue Bell out from others. They took her up on the challenge using three ice creams - Blue Bell, Dreyer's and Breyers.
They made her do the test blindfolded and she nailed it. She tasted all three drinking water between each taste before making her decision. The Blue Bell was the first one tested and it seemed fairly obvious that she new that was the BB but tasted the others to make sure.
One of the guys said that if she had picked the wrong one it would have screwed up all of the sworn Blue Bell ice cream aficionados in Houston.
If they upload the audio later, I'll post it.

I saw Blue Bell ice cream at a super Wal Mart here in Montgomery. I didn't pay attention to the flavors they were selling.
