BK service has gone retrograde from the 70s to now. They have changed thier methods of producing the food and made it crappier in fact. What once was a burger cooked to order now sits in a little warmer bin.

The article also mentions they have the worst accuracy of the major chains. How can you be worst in speed and accuracy?

It's a shame too. A good mustard whopper with jalapeños is legit.

When I was a kid and they actually ran the things through a charbroiled, which was their claim to fame along with have it your way, they were not a bad burger.

I haven't eaten one in 20 years or even stopped at BK.

I hate BK. The whopper used to be my favorite when I was a kid. I stopped going years ago. They have by far the worst service and the food just sucks. Several of them closed down here in Shreveport/Bossier area. good riddance.

Maybe some BK HQ folks will wake up.

Yep they actually used tp have flavor as a result of the cooking process, not so anymore at all. Cardboard would have more of a flavor character to it than thier burgers. Although not as big a chain WhatABurger has food that is way better than all of the others as the cook to order. For those that would like a grilled burger once a year unfortunately I would suggest going to the firemans fair in Thibodaux in April/May.

CFA has a "simplicity advantage" over the others. But that is part of their genius... do one thing very well.

And agree their employees act like they enjoy working there. I know from experience there is a lot of animosity between BK HQ and their franchisees.

I saw the subject of this thread and I thought, "yep, sure is". I'll actually avoid the BK near my house if the line is too long...I KNOW it's going to take forever

This must be a Baton Rouge thing. That has never happened to me in my entire life at any Fast food place ever.

And yes, Chik-Fil-A and Cane's have both figured out that if you have employees who give a little bit of a shite and act like they actually enjoy having a job, people don't mind waiting a little longer and having a limited menu.

McDonald's is getting a little better with their staff. The food besides breakfast still sucks, but they definitely get you the food as quick as possible. I just hate that they seem to give a shite about the drive thru more than the customer who actually goes inside.

while we are on the subject of fast food places. Do all Wendy's locations throw your cup away and give you a new one when you get a refill? The one on Florida by Bon Carre does this. When I asked they cited "cross contamination".

Also do they all yell "guest count number" ?

He said "I'm sure the people complaining have never had the opportunity of working in fast food".

Nobody is holding a gun to his head and making him work at a fast food restaurant. There are far better entry level jobs out there and I'm pretty sure people that want to use the drive thru instead of going inside are entitled to do so as an American.

I just don't understand if I'm the car at the window and all I ordered was a 3 piece wing meal at Popeyes, why should I have to pull up or park and wait 10 minutes for that? I could be wrong though, since I've never had the opportunity of working in fast food.
