Go to the harbor next to hard rock casino and buy the shrimp directly off the shrimp boats

If you'd rather buy from a market, quality or desportes are both fine and in Biloxi

Everyone here will tell you go to Mahoneys for your restaurant. I'd prefer some newer options:

patio 44 in Biloxi
corks and cleaver in Gulfport
half shell in Biloxi
Charred in ocean springs (steaks and oysters)
Off the hook in ocean springs
Bacchus on the beach in pass Christian
Anthony's in ocean springs

Corks and Clevers is closed. It is moving to BSL, the Cuevas Bistro old location.

I would recommend Wentzel's in Biloxi as well.

Cuz's in BSL started serving boiled crabs recently, and still has crawfish. I usually get BBQ shrimp, but they do all sorts of fried seafood as well. Royal Reds can be had steamed around...most places have seafood, what are you looking for.

You should check out the area...drive east one day to Ocean Springs...drive west to Long Beach, the Pass, and BSL.

If they're still open, go to the Pelican Wharf. I promise you won't be let down. Real cajun seafood

They named it Bacchus on the Beach in north Mississippi?

Granted, they are in front of a harbor here and not a beach, but that's a technicality.

My go to places when I go visit my mom in the Bay are

Dempsey's
Shaggy's
Trapani's
Is Benino's still open? I haven't been to the Bay in 4 or so years?

Not for food. We went there (the last iteration was Lil Joe's - same family) a good bit, and they always seemed busy, but the Depot is in a bit of skid as of late.

I loved the Benino Roast Beef Po Boy, was the best around. S&B was okay but just something about Benino's.

When I come down for the 4th, my mom is telling me about some harbor place they just opened and some marina place in Slidell.

I am thinking just get me to my regular stops and a breakfast at the Buttercup. I will walk into the Tiger buy a beer just to see it and I am good. My mom told me that the original Fire Dog family opened up in Biloxi but told her they will never reopen in the Bay. I have big sads, as the Dog was my place along with the High/Low Life bar.

I wish they sell the Fire Dog lot, it's a just mud hole.

Ring on a string at the Low Life was my jam.

The Mockingbird hired a legit chef and putting out some good food now.

Cuz's is the new place across from the marina, and they sell a ton of boiled seafood.

The Sycamore House's back patio is still the best spot in town for food, but it's about to get too hot.

I guess I could drive a couple more hours north and still be in MS, so north-ish MS. After looking at a map it's pretty obvious I need a geography lesson about the state I live in...

bacchus seems to have names relative to location (ie bacchus madison, bacchus on the beach, bacchus on the square)

The ones down here are great and always have fresh seafood. Awesome oysters! The one in the pass usually has live music on their deck.

I wonder if it's same management up there. They recently open "charred" in OS that is great as well. It's a steak and oyster bar.
