During our trip to Laffy yesterday, I noticed this place on the way to Don's. Saw a sign that said "best boudin balls in town". We stopped in and got 1/2 dozen for a taste test. They were actually really good. roughly the size of a tennis ball and they had a different kind of crust on them. Almost like a fried chicken crust.Looks like a pretty new place, still has the temporary "banner" type sign.
Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area.

I've tried to go there before, but my car out of habit always heads north to Best Stop.

Billys > Best Stop > Dons
I love Dons, but their boudin is absolutely terrible.

Early's in Scott placed in a couple of categories in the Boudin Cook-off this past weekend. They don't seem to get much press for being good.
