Capitol City Crawfsh on Government has really good roast beef with gravy poboys and shrimp poboys. I think they use Leidenheimer bread, so it's soft and crunchy at the same time.

New Orleans Po Boy and Gyro on Coursey and Sherwood makes a quality Po Boy. I would put it up against any Po Boy in Baton Rouge.

I think you will find that all things equal Baton Rouge Po Boy game is pretty mediocre.

Personally, I am not that big on it. Don't like the bread they use. I've loved everything I've had there except the Muff.

It's not popular on here but I'm a fan of Rocco's shrimp poboy.

Dempsey's Shrimp PB is my personal favorite. I like Pocorello's muffaletta better than Anthony's. George's and Chimes both have quality poboys as well. I need to try Cap City Crawfish.

I went to Marty J's Seafood on Nicholson for lunch today...thought the Shrimp Po-boy was legit.

Capitol City Crawfish has the best roast beef poboy outside of New Orleans

Count me among those not a big fan of the Anthony's muffetta. I think Pocarellos and Heads and Tails have the best. Anthony's "mufalletta po boy" is garbage, and beside that they will only sell you a whole muff.

Among po boys, Mike Willies are some of the best I've had.

George's Southside Shrimp is the right answer.

I also enjoyed the the shrimp poyboy at marty j's.. But man oh man did Their fries suck. They came out undercooked and soggy. And literally not a grain of salt or seasoning

Poboys are decent. Everything else there is trash. Not worth your time.
