Bulldog is terrible. I'd go to Henry's or if you like Florida fans Dat Dog has the best outdoor seating on magazine.

Edit: Rendezvous is another option along with Fat Harry's on St. Charles.

Tracey's had the most selection of games and TVs to view in that area. Food is meh and overpriced.

I watched the Saints - Philly playoff game at Ms. Maes and had a surprisingly good time. But I wouldn't recommend it for an average college football weekend.

Henry's is a good choice with lots of locals. Big LSU supporters.

Bulldog is a great spot to drink IMO but not for sports. The patio tv is unwatchable and the TVs inside suck.

Tracey's is dirty and overrated. Never had the food but really haven't enjoyed my time there when drinking.

I like Rendezvous. Decent tap selection as you can find Founders all day, Sierra Nevada pale ale, etc. They also have several TVs mostly showing different games on each.

Cooter Brown isn't on Mag but is one of the better spots to watch college football uptown. Good bar food and atmosphere.

Thanks. I'm not a fan of smoke. I used to go there about 10 years ago frequently.

I was in fantasy football overload in there for the NFL noon games this past Sunday. 7 different games were on.

We watched football inside the Bulldog for a while Sunday. Didn't seem that bad to me. Beer and TV's and wasn't too packed. The patio was loaded up with folks though and the TV out there wasn't very seeable in the sunlight. Went to Rendevous as well and it had a better football watching set up. I can't really remember the other bars around there we stumbled in due to being overserved at the above two.

We had to pass each other at some point Sunday Balls. I walk past Bulldog and Basin around noon and then posted up in the Vous til the 3 o'clock games started.
