We really should have a Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Destin dining guide thread stickied this time of year, every year ..

Cosmos. Their firecracker shrimp is great and they have a good happy hour.

Do you know of Moes is affiliated with the one in Bham? That one is a northern restaurant competing for BBQ in a city that already had great BBQ. It's awful. I'm afraid the Orange Beach location is the same but I wanna know for sure.

No I'm not sure. I've only been once and liked it. But I was pretty wasted so anything at the time would have tasted great

If you just want BBQ, try "Down South BBQ", or the parking lot behind the gas station on the corner of 59 and highway 10 - the road that goes over to Bon Secour.

Really small and really good, pulled pork, ribs, chicken. We usually get it to go.

This board led me to Tin Top....it is mine and mrs. Nelatf's favorite when at the gulf - worth the drive and wait.

Butt tender is a great dish if the special does not ring your bell...but the specials are good.

Shipps Harbour was pretty good. Would recommend, but you should definitely make reservations.

Meh. We enjoyed it. Had a party of 10, waited about 2 hours at the bar and had a good time. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Banana wrapped Fish and that savory cheese cake was worth the wait.
