Emergen-C? Are you fricking kidding me? Please don't ever bring up this shite in front of a group of real men.

My hot toddy recipe is what my mother taught me.. which is to heat up in a sauce pan bourbon, lemon juice and honey. Whisk together and get it as hot as you can without it being so hot as to burn your throat and drink.

Mix up some lemonade or buy some cans of Country Time. Heat them up. Dump a bag of Hall's honey lemon cough drops in. Cook until melted. Add honey to coat the throat...whatever amount you want. Smelling it will clear the sinuses. Drink it as warm as you can, but remember that the sugars in it will be hot.

You can add some bourbon to it if you want. Many cough meds have alcohol. Suppresses the cough. Temporarily, though.

I had bronchitis a few years ago and I can't tell you how much of this stuff I drank. Helped my throat and my voice which was barely there. It's not the best tasting thing you've ever had, but it helps a lot.
