Looking for a nice casual patio to hang out in New Orleans on Sunday that serves food. Temps look nice Sunday and looks like a great fall day for a patio to hang out and get primed for the Saints first win of the season .

Would prefer uptown/downtown/Frenchmen/fq/Garden district.

Surprisingly the search helped me ZERO and really can't remember reading a thread on this topic.

ETA: I enjoyed drinks on Mojito's patio on Frenchmen, but haven't eaten. That might be an option.

I'm naive too, but I would love to hang out on that patio on a nice Sunday afternoon.

Waiter service, but in the more casual realm, poboys, brunch. $17 plates and less I guess. The wife of the other couple is a picky eater.

Occasionally, Herbsaint will open for Sunday night games. If they are, sitting on the front walkway, drinking, and snacking is no way to go through life, son.

Herbsaint street side tables would be great and their lunch menu isn't too adventurous.

I'll give them a call.

Hmmm, that's kind of a chore to find somewhere with that kind of food service plus a place that has a patio plus a place that has TVs outside for the game.

Are you going to the game or wanting to watch it?

I agree. We're going to the game.

When I really stopped to think about nice casual patios in those areas of NOLA, I kind of drew a blank.

Velvet Cactus has a nice patio, but the food was very meh last time.

Well you can always sit outside at Parkway; you can also check out MRB, Cafe Degas, Sylvain, Cafe Amelie.

Wife loves Parkway, so we might end up there, but I wanted to try something new.

I'm not a big fan of the FQ but if I'm down there I like hanging out at MRB. Good place to watch a game, their food is pretty decent and they have a little patio out back. Mostly I go because the crowd is pretty cool .. mostly locals.

Get the food from parkway to go then go down the street to the Bayou Beer Garden patio.

The food is good but not great. Pan Latin fusion. Not a huge fan of latin food but those I have gone with have enjoyed it. Nice patio though.
