Pretty good list. NOLA is definitely delivering the best products in my opinion.

I'd rather have a PBR than Tin Roof Blonde. Maybe replace that with Voodoo Bengal which I enjoy.

Irish Channel Stout is a great beer.

Anyone know if Hopitoulas is available anywhere in Lafayette? If not, where would I have to go to get it? I think I heard it's not in Lafayette anywhere.

I would hope so. I saw it in Tupelo, MS the other day.

You're probably right. I think I enjoyed NOLAs version a little more. I suppose Blondes aren't to my liking in general.

Wow, you must not drink a lot of varieties of beer. To say Canebrake taste like miller, or nothing, is laughable.

If you don't like it that is fine, but making these two statements, wow.

Where can I find this around BR?

Don't know about BR, but Tap Room in Lafayette had some still available late last month. I drank a shite-load of it one night. Would actually get my vote for personal favorite Louisiana beer with Grand Reserve and NOLA Channel running close 2nds.

I know Abita gets run on alot here, and overall I don't find the brand "great", but have really enjoyed the Oyster Stout. Wish they would bottle it in the bombers like the SOS, Abbey Ale and Andy Gator.

Agreed. I'm not saying Canebrake is the best beer ever, but like someone else said, it's a fine drinking beer. I can drink a bunch of them, but not be overwhelmed by it. I really enjoy it. That guy also thought Abita SOS was better, so I assume he has a taste for things completely different than I do.

I had some in Lafayette at Walk-Ons like a month ago. Not a beer I was crazy about. Not bad by any means, but wasn't my thing.

Bmc drinkers in louisiana think its the best beer ever made because they are used to drinking piss. Most level headed craft beer drinkers think its a great drinking beer, period.
well in my book that makes a beer excellent. Something puts me off about a beer you cant drink much of no matter how good it tastes.

One of my local bars in Minnesota has a nice selection of brews including some Abita offerings. In honor of my TD buddies, I tried the Turbodog. I liked it, but I guess I'll have to try the Oyster Stout next time I go there.
