As a big fan of the Envie, Ghost, Commotion style of beer, anyone have any beer recommendations for me in or around Austin? Thanks

Pinthouse pizza has some great beers in that style. Solid pizza as well.

This.
Hops & Grains has good IPAs too. Their Mosaic pale ale is really good

Bangers on Rainey st is a cool place to have beer. And craft pride right down the street is a good place to visit to.

Pinthouse South Lamar has the juiciest, best selling IPA in town called the Electric Jellyfish.
Also on tap is the Road to Nowhere DIPA.
Badass APA called Green Battles, double dry-hopped experimental hop blend.
The North pub probably has some good shite on as well. Just depends on the part of town you're occupying.

Perfect. Pinthouse sounds like my wheelhouse. Thanks

Just be aware that the North pub and the South pub have different beers on, so don't go to Burnet expecting Jellyfish, and vice versa.
The director of brewing is the same at both locations so a lot of the styles are the same (NE IPAs at both), but the brew crews are different so the beers are also.

Burnet's zappy squid (their version of electric jellyfish) is damn good. This is Juice? was fantastic as well.
I'm always closer to that location when I travel. I need to get down to Lamar to try their offerings. My guess is they are pretty similar with different names.

EJ has been hugely successful, moreso than I think anyone anticipated...Zappy Squid was Burnet's response to Jelly and while it's good, EJ is considered the best local IPA for a reason.
Same with Juice, it was an answer to Lamar's WTF is Juice? Which, in my opinion, is the best beer to ever come out of the South pub.
There 's a friendly rivalry :)
Regardless of which location you choose, Joe Mohrfeld does amazing, unprecedented things with hops. He is truly brilliant.

They citra bombed the last batch of EJ. So damn good, but my favorite IPA is You Holdin Bro?
Any word on that one? I haven't seen in in months..

Not in the next month or two, but Holdin's a hit so I imagine it will be back in the nearish future.
In the process of installing two new fermenters so will be able to keep up with EJ production while making larger batches of the more exclusive IPAs. Every special IPA in the last 8 months or so has been small batch and limited release because Jelly takes up so much production space, and it's the flagship beer and also the main distro, so it's important to have enough to supply both the pub and the distro accounts.

Hit up the Burnet location this past trip, and as usual, walked out believing Pinthouse has the best ipas in the state.

Hops & Grain - Pale Mosaic IPA is great and in line with those styles.
Also pick up some Live Oak - Hefe, it's rated as one of the best in the country.

I've always enjoyed the beer at ABGB.
Man, I love their pizza but every beer I tried was underwhelming...maybe I just caught them on a bad night.

Could be or maybe I just don't know what the hell I'm talking about.
I've always enjoyed it though.
OP, you could also make a little trip out to Jester King. Cool place with some interesting beers for sure.
