Not really able to get any decent beers in Shreveport so coming back from a trip to Houston i decided to load up on some stuff I have never tried. An thoughts, input, or recommendations would be nice.

Rahr & Sons - Rahr's Blonde (6-pack)
Lagunitas - Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale (6-pack)
Dogfish Head - Midas Touch (4-pack)
Harpoon - Leviathan (4-pack)
Ska - Modus Hoperandi (4-pack)
Sierra Nevada - Bigfoot Ale (4-pack)
Oskar Blues - Ten Fidy (4-pack)
Southern Star - Buried Hatchet Stout (4-pack)
Ommegang - Three Philosophers (1 x bomber)
Great Divide - Yeti (1 x bomber)
Lagunitas - Wilco Tango Foxtrot (2 x bomber)
1 bomber size bottle of Duchesse de Bourgogne
2 Trappistes Rochefort 10 11.2oz
1 Trappistes Rochefort 8 11.2oz

Hope I did good, since I've only ever tasted the Burried Hatchet and SN Bigfoot this is gonna be a learning experience.

The one off of Richmond Ave. Picked up the Rahr because I have a friend that works at the brewery so I figured I would give it a try

Your beer tastes confuse me. You hate most IPAs, but like some of them. You love imperial stouts, but not all of them. I'm just all over here.

i like russian imperial stout around 8-10%

Ten Fidy is too boozy and more of an american imperial. too strong and too much hop characteristic for my tastes

i dont like southern cali hop forward IPAs. i like citrus, floral, and balanced IPAs. you can keep your piney resin IPAs

hope that helps you out

I'm not 100% sure on all of them, but I thought you could get these in Louisiana?

Gotcha. I'm with you on the citrusy and floral IPAs. I'm big on hop forward, but clean back end IPAs of late.
