SIAP, I searched and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know of anywhere in Baton Rouge that sells beef tallow?

Gracias.

The hard fat.

Usually any grocery stores that cut meat have it, although, I sometimes have to put my order in the previous week.

Mix it with deer meat, etc., for sausage.
Some use it like lard for cooking and seasoning.
I boil it down sometimes and wipe on leather boots,, conditions and helps to waterproof.

Mainly mix in sausage.
