Thai Pepper's lunch buffet is 100 times better than anything Thai Kitchen offers
As far as Vietnamese, my personal favorite is Dang's. Banh Mi with either pho or bun bo hue is a killer combo. They have amazing chicken curry, as well.

The only places within 15 minutes of the casino are Drunken Fish (terrible) and Ava Street Cafe (average). The good Vietnamese restaurants are out on Florida Blvd, a good 25-30 minutes from the casino. If you really want Vietnamese make the drive.

Dang's. Yes, the shopping center is a little sketchy. No, you won't get mugged. Yes, you will enjoy your food.
I wish I were closer to that side of town today. I could definitely wreck a bowl of pho tai and bahn mi.

I used to live close and heard everyone raving about it. Tried it once and thought it was abysmal. It felt dirty, the food was like going to a Chinese picture menu take out that happens to have a buffet. I didn't understand the love for the place. Cheap maybe?
Also hated Thai Kitchen and I like Thai food.

Wow, I'm really surprised to hear you say that; you're the first person I've come across that hasn't liked it. I've been going there for close to 20 years, since back when Thai Kitchen was in that spot, and although it's changed ownership a few times it has remained consistently excellent, and it has nothing to do with the price. The food variety and quality is great, in my opinion. It's my favorite restaurant in the city. I've recommended it to dozens of folks over the years and everyone has enjoyed it
