I went to Willie's last night. We all enjoyed it. Tried all of the apps. The fried green tomatoes were my favorite. We all had the Redfish for an entree and all enjoyed it as well. Thinking about trying Your Mom's tonight as I've never been there.

Hit up Doe's last night... a 22-24 oz. ribeye with mashed potatoes, preceded by some decent beer, cheese & potato soup and followed up with dessert. It's always one of the best deals every time restaurant week rolls around.

Went to Mansurs on Monday. It was in point, but packed.

I don't usually eat dessert so the deals aren't as attractive. Wish a few of the places would do app salad and main course

I agree. We are doing City Pork tonight only because their app and entree options sound awesome and are different than their regular menu. But otherwise, I've never actually ordered from the restaurant week menu because I don't eat dessert.

Nino's always used to do this, but I was disappointed to see that they weren't participating this year.

Las Palmas on par with (overpriced and ridiculous) places like The Melting Pot. Oh, my.

Got to my hotel last night at the Marriott. Walked over to Sullivan's next door, never eaten there, and they showed me the special menu. I order the filet. There was nothing that great about that meal. The cheesecake was terrible. Even the starter soup was average at best.

Was in town last week on business and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. Walked across the street and went to Saltgrass. I swear for half the cost that Saltgrass steak was so much better tasting. That's pretty sad when a mid level affordable steakhouse is far superior to that of a higher end steakhouse.

Yes because the Melting Pot is a beacon of culinary excellence. Back to Livingston Parish for you

If you're looking for best bang for your buck, Drusilla seafood has a seafood platter on their menu. It's on the $25 menu. I went last night. It was an enormous amount of food. Didn't even come close to touching the dessert. All fried seafood but I thought it was good. Had only been there once previously and wasn't all that impressed. I'll probably give them another shot now as I found it pretty tasty!

Yeah, I don't normally find anything during restaurant week too appealing since I never order dessert during a normal meal and don't feel like eating one even if it is given to me. We are going to Doe's tonight and will order off the regular menu.

I've eaten at Your Mom's several times. The food was good but the service is terrible.
