Barcadia was started by the guy who owns Ampersand. Billy Blatty. His dad wrote the exorcist.

The Dallas owner has a partner but he is a Dallas guy. Maybe he moved to NOLA to open it there.
ETA..Billy Blatty is her partner. They started it in dallas and he is from La. So he opened the NOLA one.
