cool concept. come with your friends, drink, and play games like TMNT, foosball, air hockey, Mortal kombat . Almost as cool as clicks.

Kung Fu in Austin on W.6th is the best one I have been too. Think it would do well in mid-city nola or around campus in B.R. Barcadia is pretty cool too, had bad experience with servers but all in all its good.

I'm hoping the new Curbside Restaurant in mid city BR will be as advertised. Some arcade games would definitely put it over the top, though, haha

Every time I have been, the food takes forever, it's cold when it gets to the table and the service is horrible. Finally gave up and stopped going.

It's no Tunnel.

Heck, it isn't as good as Fluties or Au Bar.

After eating at Dorsia, I would prefer something with a bit more energy.

I had a bad experience the first time we went so I never got the hype. We ordered guacamole that was as brown as can be. This wasn't even close to being something you could serve but that didn't stop them from shoving it in our face. I know sometimes guacamole can turn brown but still be edible as it is only the very top layer but this was brown all the way through and tasted like it had turned. It just ruined everything from that point on. The place only had one server who had to double as the bartender so I can let you guess how our service was.

I frequent the one on Tchop (never been to another) but the happy hour and service is legit.

I haven't been in a long time, but that's a shame. They had good proof of concept in Nola and it should've done very well here but they were plagued from the start. They took way too long with the build-out, then they had their AC issues that hurt them from the get go. That location should be a gold mine, and would be if it was run properly.

Barcadia is owned by a butch lesbo ex con who opened the first one here in Dallas. I'm sure she franchises them out though. She has a few other restraint concepts she has opened recently so I'm sure she isn't as involved much anymore in Barcadia. My wife used to know her and party with the same group of friends. She had a really hip lesbian bar she opened as her first project years ago we used to go to.

The Dallas location is the original?

I've only been to the one in New Orleans one time when I was stumbling around drunk with a group of friends. I didn't eat, but we had a good time. I was looking forward to trying the burgers next time I went to Baton Rouge because I had heard so many good things, but it looks like I'll be taking that business to The Merchant instead.
