How do you get them light and fluffy? Mine always seem to turn out dense, we bake them at 500 for about 90 minutes.

400 degrees for an hour.Or, microwave for 8 minutes and finish in the oven .

This. Maybe even a little longer depending on how big the potatoes are.

Rub with kosher salt on the outside(skin) prior to baking. This pulls out all the moisture inside the potato and makes it light and fluffy!
