We enjoyed Frank Restaurant (off of 4th) before hitting 6th all night.

Good beer and great cocktails with hotdogs and other good bites.

Abel's on the Lake. The food may not knock your socks off but the Texas Teas will be flowing.

What would be a good area to hit up tonight given that it's a weekday and stupid cold outside?

We had Rainey planned but I'm thinking we will go there during the day this Saturday or one of the warmer nights.

Last one I went to there last year we hit up the Dogwood for dinner one night and the Iron Cactus the other

Dogwood was better from what I can remember, other place was typical tex mex but could quickly accommodate a big table with no reservation

Good upscale BBQ, and they have a super fun band playing tonight as a kick-off for a 24 hour charity drive benefitting local nonprofits. You can have a warm meal and then get the warm fuzzies by donating a few bucks to see the Dirty River Boys :)

Lamberts is freaking awesome. It's a cool place, has good beer and cocktail selections, and the food is great. It's a tad pricey, but not too bad. I'd make a reservation if you have a big party. Tell them you want to sit upstairs.

Some people like Eastside Showroom, but it's hard to get a big party there.

I've been to the one in Lockhart. It wasn't half as good as what the best of Austin has to offer.

I second LA BBQ.
