Me and Mrs Ig recently moved to Pville and we go to Sammy's quite a bit for the quick go to place.

Was wondering if there is any restaurants that would be worth our time in Gonzales?

Where should we eat dinner tonite???

What are you looking for? Also, what part of PVille?

AP has the tendency to have lots of places that are extremely similar.

Casual (po'boy type places): ^Dempsey's, ^South of Philly, Mike's Po'boys, Leader's Fried Chicken, Nooley's, ^T-Wayne's, Hilltop*, Hymel's*
slight step up: ^Kamahl's, Albasha's, Philay's, Don's Seafood Hut, On the Half Shell, Carlico Cafe, ^Kevin's, Sarita's*, Swamp Pop Cafe*, Roma's
A little more fancy: ^Sno's, (v)The Cabin, (v)Captain Anderson's
Destination: ^Latil's Landing*, Grapevine*

*indicates more out of the way (Diversion Canal, Amite River, Donaldsonville)
^indicates my top favorites
(v) I don't recommend

What is this?

Also, need to try Dutch's

Kamals over Albasha is questionable. Unless you live a lot closer to Kamals

Is the Italian Bowl still open? I've heard from a couple of people that said it was pretty good.

Dutch's and Galvez Seafood are pretty good out there.

Nooley's is better than expected, the owner posts here and is in the store every day. He is limited by the clientele I believe or would be doing bigger things.

If yoy want something a little more romantic/upscale you can hit Highland and Bacchus Bistro/Bar is a cool little place.

Robertos is not in AP and if you are coming from deep Galvez it is a little drive.

Worst case I can get my dad to make you some meals and you can sit on the river and drink and BS with him.

They always have new stuff pop up. The chicken and waffle place is sketchy, but their fries chicken was freaking good the only time I had it.

What they are known for. Only been once in the past 6 months, not what they used to be, but still really good.

Would have my vote for best steak in AP.
