If you find some good ones, and are headed back home, Please pick me up a flat (or whatever unit they sell them by)

Mackinaw peaches are in season. They're from Oregon and are only ripe 2 weeks out of the year.

Just passed a roadside stand on the way to Farmerville sitting next to a peach orchard. The lady said they are in season for another 3 weeks. I picked up three large bags...

They sell them by the gallon bucket, $5. I just saw this and have to pass back by how much do you want?

Where was the roadside stand you got the peaches from? I am going to drive up there next weekend to get some peaches and wasn't sure where to go. Do you know what road it was on.

Mitchum's is just outside Ruston on Mitchum Orchard Rd. At the orchard they have flats of "perfect" peaches and bags of the ones that have a blemish or two.

Also, there are usually flats for sale at Squire Creek in the clubhouse.

Yak's is 10 miles north of Ruston on Hwy 33/Farmerville Hwy. right on the Lincoln/Union parish line. Good peaches, but not as pretty or large as Mitchum's.

I think this is where I found peaches. I was headed to Farmerville and there was an orchard with a stand on the right while driving north...
