There is a liquor permit request posted on a window at the shop immediately to the right of
Albertson's...in a previous life it was a cell
phone store, I believe. Not a lot of space there
for a restaurant or bar.

I don't know-I'm still pissed about them closing our blockbuster. Dammit.

I wish outback would close and we could get something good there.

Rag, please tell me that BB did not close. Those two guys - one with grey hair and the other with brown hair - have worked there for years. Really nice guys. I hope, for their sake - it did not close.

i've never been to that Blockbuster and not had to wait in a long line, so i think that may be a profitable location.

Come to thnk of it, are there any OTHER bb's left open in BR?

And both of those guys really are nice guys, by the way.

The white haired guy-James. I call him the ghost. Stank bad, had hardly any teeth, but he was awesome.

They closed a few weeks ago. Said millerville bb is sill open. They are just packing up in there.

wow .. it sure is taking them an awfully long time to do that .. like i said, it almost looked like they were open last night ... it doesn't look like they have moved anything out of there yet ... i do see they took the blockbuster kiosk machine away from the white oak shell and the rite aid too ..

That's a pretty cruel thing to say. I hope you never get your wish. I'm a fan of that Outback and have had lots of delicious meals there. Andy the owner and his staff have always been very nice to me. I hope they continue to do well for many many years.

No kidding...Maybe a couple of more pizza places will open up in our area too.

Looks like Albertson's is trying to spruce up their joint by doing a little remodeling and adding a few new things. It's about time.

I am liking the new salad bar at albertsons.

I know the outback owners too-I still wish they would move somewheres else.

What would you like to be in that spot other than Outback?

Olive Garden. That way I wouldn't have to drive all the way over to Seigen for my go-to meal.

Here are my perfect world swaps & wishes for our area.

lagniappe instead of jones creek cafe
chick fil-a instead of hungry howies
popeyes, workers who give a shite
open kfc back up on jones creek in their original spot
outback, new bar stools with a 350lb rating
la madeline instead of city cafe
open marble slab back up
portobello's, have their incredibly fine chick workers put under a spell so that i'll appear to them as george cloony
burger king (see popeyes)
georges, an air conditioner along with proper kitchen ventilation and air assisted flush for the toilets

there's more, but i'll just start with this list.

Degas, you better edit that if you know what's good for you.
